AMG Market/PR News - Nov. 1, 2007: Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) reported its strongest month of the year and its best October on record with sales of 22,820 new vehicles. This is a marked increase of 10.8 percent over last October (20,598) and brings year-to-date sales to 203,085 setting an all-time record for the company.
Sales for the month of October were boosted by high consumer demand for the 2008 C-Class, which the company has been marketing heavily. The C-Class recorded a 102 percent increase over October 2006 (7,646 vs. 3,784).

Within its luxury light truck lines – M-Class, R-Class, GL-Class and G-Class – Mercedes-Benz posted a combined 0.2 percent increase over last October (6,255 vs. 6,241) and a 10.9 percent increase over year-to-date 2006 (59,433 vs. 53,595).
Separately, through the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned program, MBUSA sold 3,971 vehicles in October, an increase of 3.5 over October 2006, bringing the year-to-date total to 43,224 units, a 9.1 percent increase over year-to-date 2006.
